As I am gathering more and more info about different disabilities, and getting so many emails from interested parents, I have decided that in the month of November I want to hold 2 or 3 Meet The Horses/ Informational nights. We want to give the kids a chance to meet the horses and also give parents a chance to gather as much information as possible. I also would like to note that the interest of different types of kids is giving me a lot of different data to work with. I also was told one child had something that I had never heard of and researching it and finding out what this was. This child had Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder and the things I found out about it were interesting. I read that it often got diagnosed in some children as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) but it was said that since kids with SPCD don't always display the symptoms of ASD the two should not be considered the same thing. That is my little "blurb" I will post Meet The Ponies dates once I get a look at a calendar, I will have mulitple on a select few Mondays and Fridays and maybe weekends throughout November so that everyone can come to at least one! Thank you everyone, I can't wait to meet you all
