New Approach

Recently after my midterm presentation I had hit a road block. A good friend of mine in my class talked with me over the course of multiple class periods trying to help me since I had been told by some of my volunteers that my meetings could use some more structure and I personally felt that I needed to make it more educational. I also felt as though I was not connecting with my kids in the way I would have liked. My friend said maybe I should try a new approach. He suggested that I should meet with everyone individually, that way I get 1:1 time with each kid and they are then able to achieve what they want at their own pace. It is also useful because there is less chaos in the arena and I am able to really teach the kids in the best way possible. I was also given the idea of group "talk sessions" where we can talk about progress.
