Here's our new logo which was designed by myself last week! (11/1/2018)

Recently I started reading an article recommended to me by my Innovation teacher (the class that this program is starting from), it talks about Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) as a whole and how it is beneficial to people with various mental disorders such as schizophrenia and dementia. The people they tested on had improved greatly in behavioral and social activity and I found it fascinating. I also have been using teachers in my school as resources to find more information about different disabilities and I've since been given other teachers to talk to and recommended students in my school who could possibly be interested in this program too. I have been referred to the Speech and Language instructor who deals with kids that have disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome and Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder. I've yet to speak with her but I feel as though she can give me more insight on SPCD since I have little knowledge and have not been exposed to that before. I look forward to learning more, and I will update with more information about anything I find.
